Check-In Policies

This page keeps the former check-in policy topic from the old website, updated to match the current property operations and room setup.

1. Check-in and checkout times

Standard check-in begins at 3:30 PM. Standard checkout is 10:30 AM. As with standard hotel lodging, rooms are sold by the room night according to the property’s check-in and checkout cycle—not as a rolling 24-hour rental.

Room-night cycle: A check-in after 12:00 AM but before 10:30 AM is part of the hotel night already in progress. Checkout remains 10:30 AM that morning unless management separately approves and receives payment for the next room night.

A later checkout may be granted by the front desk only when available and may require an additional charge. Guests remaining after the approved checkout time without permission may be charged, denied extension or required to leave.

An unpaid checkout or hotel skip-out may constitute theft of service under Texas Penal Code § 31.04. The statute provides that intent to avoid payment may be presumed when a person absconds without paying in circumstances where payment is ordinarily made immediately, including hotels. View the Texas statute (opens in a new tab).

2. Age and identification

  • Guests renting or checking into a room should generally be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid government-issued photo identification may be required for the registered guest and for additional adult occupants.
  • Luxury Inn may refuse check-in or continued occupancy if identification, registration information or payment information appears false, incomplete, mismatched or suspicious.

3. Occupancy and room setup

  • Only one king-size bed is offered in each room.
  • Maximum occupancy is 2 adults per room.
  • There is no capacity for extra beds, rollaway beds or cribs, and no extra space for additional adult occupants.
  • Any unapproved extra person may result in extra charges, immediate checkout, refusal of stay or removal.

4. Visitors and paying for another guest

  • No unregistered person is permitted on the property at any time. Do not enter unless you are a registered guest or specifically authorized by management. Unauthorized persons may be treated as trespassers under posted property rules and required to leave immediately.
  • Only properly registered guests may obtain keys or room-access assistance.
  • Anyone paying for another guest’s room must satisfy management’s verification requirements. Payment may be refused without acceptable authorization or identity confirmation.
  • Acceptance of third-party payment does not waive any guest rule, occupancy limit or enforcement right.

5. Deposit, extensions and no-guarantee language

  • A $10 cash deposit may be required at check-in.
  • An extension request is only a request. An extension exists only after management approval and payment of any balance due.
  • Online payment by current guests does not create a reservation and does not automatically approve an extension.
